Dozens of Criminal Aliens Rounded up In San Antonio Region
Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the San Antonio Region has rounded up 50 illegal immigrants who have committed serious crimes in the U.S. ranging from drug possession to indecency with a child, 1200 WOAI news reports.

25 of them were arrested in the city of San Antonio.

Thirty were criminal aliens, four were immigration fugitives with outstanding orders of deportation, and nine were previously deported illegals.

"The results of this operation underscore ICE's ongoing focus to arrest convicted criminal aliens who prey upon our communities and who chose to ignore our nations' immigration laws," said Enrique Lucero, San Antonio Field Office Director.

The arrested include immigrants from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Canada, and Ukraine.

Those arrested deported following appearances before immigration judges.
