Guess What: Used Cars are Getting Cheaper!

Used cars are now cheaper.
Texas car dealer Ray Huffines says
price wise, used cars competed
with new cars just a few years ago.

"Cars do depreciate when you
drive off of the lot so many
people prefered to get used
cars," says Huffines.

During the recession, people were
frugal and decided to buy used
cars instead of new cars," he says
which reduced inventory.

Huffines says there is no
longer a shortage so prices
are sliding.

"They were so high to begin with,"
he says. There was a smaller supply
and the demand was going up
so the prices went up
so it's starting to go
back up to a normal
level."
