A Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy was hurt today when his patrol car was rear ended as he had stopped on I-10 to help a stranded motorist.
1200 WOAI news reports the deputy's lights on his cruiser were flashing when a driver entering I-10 at UTSA Boulevard slammed into the deputy's car.
The deputy was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The motorist who hit the deputy is also hospitalized.
Sheriff’s spokesman Paul Berry says the stranded motorist was not hurt.
